The fans always wondered how Farrah allowed her daughter such ‘freedom.’ So, the star is finally answering the question. She revealed on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast that she is okay with her daughter’s style. Farrah doesn’t want to “reject” her daughter. She just makes sure Sophia “is safe” and supports her. As long as those two things are there, Farrah is okay with Sophia’s choices.
Farrah used the term “consent culture” to describe her parenting style. She revealed that her parents “raised (her) in a different way” than she is raising her daughter. This is why she wants to “allow” Sophia “to have the will, the rights and freedoms.” According to Farrah, all these apply to things like “piercings or tattoos” as well.” Her own mom did not allow her the freedom to alter her appearance. But Farrah wants to “set up” a “safe space” for “the next generation.”
The Teen Mom star doesn’t want her daughter to be “vulnerable” and is trying to build Sophia’s “self-esteem.” While Farrah allows Sophia to have her piercings, it also helps that she loves her daughter’s gothic style. She is “happy” with whatever Sophia “decides” and “loves.” The star wants her daughter to have the freedom she never had.

Bunnie agreed with Farrah’s reason, saying kids should be free to decide. But the fans didn’t think the same. They took to the comments to express their disagreement. A fan advised others not to take “parenting advice from” Farrah. Others said the star “treats her daughter as a best friend” rather than being her parent.
