Jenelle Evans’s husband, David Eason, had allegedly abused her son, Jace. The authorities had found “marks on the right arm and left and right side of the neck,” indicating abuse. And on October 26, 2023, David’s child abu*e case started. However, David is now even more in trouble than before.
Teen Mom star Jenelle’s husband David’s initial charges included misdemeanor child abu*e. The court and the authorities considered it a mild altercation between David and Jace. However, it has become worse now.
Intouch reported that David’s case is now in the superior court, which spells more trouble for him. This might indicate that the court might upgrade his original charges to felonies. One of the charges might also be assault by strangulation.
A court spokesperson told TMZ that the court “found enough evidence to take his case out of district court.” They’ll be shifting “it to (the) superior (court).” All these developments in the case happened during the January 10 hearing. So now David is in deep trouble with the punishment the court might sentence him to.
The authorities had recovered Jace on October 2, 2023, when he had run away from his grandmother’s house. And when they hospitalized and examined him, they found the marks on his body. Reports state the assault might have taken place in someone else’s home and not the Teen Mom star’s. CPS and the cops took the ring camera recordings of the place to investigate.
Teen Mom: Jenelle & David Drowning In Money Problems Due To Legal Bills
Jenelle has chosen to support her husband, David Eason, in her son Jace’s child abu*e case. The Teen Mom star has also made public statements about her support and her son’s “mental health.” But these statements caused Jace to distress, so the court gagged Jenelle.
Celeb has been very supportive of her husband. She also went ahead and assembled a team of three lawyers to help. But these three lawyers need money to operate. A source revealed that Jenelle and David are now having money problems due to the lawyers’ fees.
Jenelle’s lawyer team includes a criminal attorney and a CPS case specialist for David. Apart from these two lawyers, Jenelle also has a third lawyer, who is exclusively for herself. The third lawyer is for the star’s defense and protection. However, the source revealed that Jenelle is now facing financial difficulties due to the three lawyer fees.
