The distress began when her eldest kid, Jace, ran away from her house for the third time in a month. However, he claimed that his mother’s husband, David Eason, physically assaulted him.
Despite being a part of the investigation, the couple continues to blame media outlets for sharing twisted facts. Apparently, CPS has advised Jenelle to undergo therapy and drug tests. Will she follow the instructions?
Teen Mom: CPS Orders Jenelle To Seek Therapy & Drug Tests!
Teen Mom Jenelle Evans and her husband David have been a part of a criminal investigation for a few months now. This began when her son Jace slid out of his window for the third time in September. This was when he accused his stepfather of assaulting him.
Jace, thus, went under the care of his grandma, Barbara, who has taken care of him since he was a mere baby. After living at her home for almost a month now, the teen recently ran away for the fourth time. However, Jenelle’s eldest son went missing for almost forty-eight hours over the weekend.
But Jace has not yet returned to either Jenelle or Barbara. Though the former does not look bothered about her son, she is advised to do some personal work on herself. As per TheSun, Jenelle was ordered to attend intensive therapy after Jace went under the care of Barbara again.
The insider said that she is strictly ordered to undergo therapy. They went on to add, “And this is not like the last time she had CPS investigating her home, this is bigger than that. She will be in therapy for months.” Besides undergoing therapy, the Teen Mom alum will also have to submit to drug testing if and when asked.
Teen Mom: Can Jenelle Evans Permanently Lose Jace’s Custody?
Jace has not entered his mother’s home since his third runaway attempt. He has since been under the custody of Child Protective Services. The ultimate decision about his permanent custody is imminent. Thus, the teen’s CPS placement decision will happen in the month of December.
As per reports, next month’s court hearing was set to announce Jace’s permanent placement. The source reveals that CPS does not want to be involved in his decision-making. They want the fourteen-year-old to settle into the best scenario at the earliest.
The insider went on to share that Jace’s age and his ability to make decisions for himself will be the key factor in framing the judge’s decision. But things seem to have taken an unexpected turn as the teen boy has escaped both Jenelle and Barbara’s house in the last couple of months.
Thus, his recent runaway can cause the former Teen Mom star to lose his custody again, as he has already stated that he does not want to live with Jenelle and David. He is likely to not return to Barbara as well. So, keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for the latest Teen Mom tea!
