Catelynn Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, from Teen Mom, currently live in a $435,000 mansion with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. According to property records, the house spans 4,296 square feet on a six-acre plot. The property also features a barn, pond, and cabin. They also own a $450,000 house in Michigan. In September 2023, they listed the property on the market for $454,000, later reducing the price to $449,900 in December.

Despite being on the market for nearly a year, the property remains unsold, and the couple has been facing financial difficulties as a result. According to the US Sun, the Michigan Register of Deeds Office filed a Certificate of Forfeiture of Real Property on March 1, 2024. Catelynn and Tyler’s property is “forfeited to the Sanilac County Treasurer” for failing to pay property taxes for 2022.

The Teen Mom couple must pay the tax by March 31, 2025. If they fail to do so, the property will be foreclosed, and the “absolute title to the property and any equity associated with an interest in the property will vest in the foreclosing governmental unit.”

“If the property is not redeemed and is foreclosed and sold or transferred, a person with an interest in the property at the time of judgment of foreclosure may claim that person’s interest in any remaining proceeds,” the statement read. Catelynn and Tyler must pay $5,007.72 in tax dues. If they fail to pay their dues, the home will go into foreclosure. The Register of Deeds Office has not filed any judgment yet.
