She revealed that she has had no contact with her daughter, Carly, for the last two years. It has been ages since she saw her, and she yarns for her.
Carly is Catelynn’s biological daughter. She gave her up for adoption in 2009 due to a lack of resources. Cateylnn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are the only couple from season one who, to date, are together. After Carly, they had other children who were under their custody. Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been engaged twice before they married in 2015. The couple suffered a setback after Carly’s adoptive parents stopped them from being in touch with her.

They wanted to talk about parenting and adoption in their podcast. Moreover, they will also cover different topics like mental health, PTSD, and much more.
Tyler shared that the podcast will be available on Apple, Spotify, Amazon, and iHeart. They launched their podcats under Kail Lowry’s Podcast Network. They have also decided to share their journey via the podcast, and their fans are excited about it. Fans hailed the couple and wished them well for the endeavor.

Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler’s lives changed forever when, at the mere age of 16, they fell pregnant. The duo did not have enough resources to sustain, so they had to give up their daughter for adoption. A family adopted Carly, and Catelynn and Tyler had a relationship with her for a few years. However, the family blocked the couple two years back and cut their contact with Carly.
They had an open adoption scheme where the family allowed them to meet Carly and receive photos once a year. But they stopped two years back. Catelynn shared that having no contact with Carly is indeed ‘very tough.’ She will be okay if her daughter does not want to contact them and will respect her decision. But this isn’t correct. The family completely blocked them, and it triggered Catelynn’s PTSD.
Catelynn added that she is willing to do whatever is required to reconnect with her daughter. She also talks to a lot of adoptees and learns about them. The Teen Mom star is trying to understand and educate herself about what helped them. Cate also plans to educate others about what they are getting into if they give up a child for adoption.
Catelynn and Tyler are also struggling to explain Carly to their other kids. They wanted to meet her but could not.
