SWAT Season 4 Episode 9 is entitled “Next of Kin.” Cheri Dvorak is the director, and Michael Gemballa is the writer of the series. The episode will have all the emotions in it. We doubt that it would make you cry by the end. Although, there will be less action and suspense and more mental distress.
The official synopsis reads, “A tragic mission leads each member of the SWAT team to contend with their emotional distress in varied ways.”
SWAT Season 4 Episode 9: Delayed!
Yes, the episode will not release in the coming week and neither in the week after that. There will be a two-week gap between the release of new episodes. These weeks will probably feature the older episodes in them. Moreover, the series has faced most of it’s delay due to the Pandemic. This time, the situation seems to be different. The delay is probably because the platform wants to stretch its programming period. SWAT previously had a break between its sixth and seventh episodes. We hope there to be none more after this.
What Have We Seen Until Now?
SWAT Season 4 has released it’s eight episodes. The recent one was “Crusade.” This episode brought up the chasing scenario. We see Hondo and his team running against a group of extremists who attacks the local businessman. FBI team gathers the information and makes it work against the group.
On the other side, Deacon and Annie are busy enrolling their daughter into a private school. Furthermore, Erika’s dating life opens up. However, she died before anything could spice up in her life. She was all ready to make a shift with Chris. While taking down Imperial Duke, she was shot and died immediately. Chris tried his best to save the character, but what’s fate can not be bloated. Tan was also shot, but he thankfully escaped at the time.
The team buries Erica’s body with a heavy heart. Will things be normal in impeding episodes? Probably not. We will always feel the gap and the need for Erica’s character. However, the characters will have to cope up.
