The Sister Wives star Meri Brown shares only one child with her estranged husband, Kody Brown. In the recent past, Leon came out as “transgender” and identified as “nonbinary.” It was a new change in the Brown family as they used to follow some strict conservative rules prior to this. However, Leon’s mother, Meri, has always supported them and stood beside their side. Recently, the matriarch showered more love on her child and their partner Audrey, on a special occasion.

Leon Brown took to Instagram in 2022 and publicly announced that they were “incredibly genderqueer, trans, and unapologetic.” The former Sister Wives star asked their fans to go by the pronouns “they/them” as they are “non-binary.” Several viewers appreciated Meri’s only child for their brave step. Since then, the matriarch has also been really supportive of her kid and does everything to protect Leon. Recently, she took to Instagram and posted a picture of Leon and Audrey grinning at the camera to honor the “International Transgender Day Of Visibility.”
Meri captioned the picture, “I see you! I love you! I got you!.” She further added a sticker asking her 835K followers to “protect Trans kids.” Evidently, it is not the first time she has shown her support for her kid publicly. There have been several instances when the Sister Wives celeb stood up for the trans person. The viewers were really happy to watch Meri and Leon bond while their father has always been on the rougher side.
There are several reports claiming that Kody had a hard time when Leon finally came out as transgender. He wasn’t able to cope with the new change amid his rigid conservation beliefs. However, till now, there is no information if Kody also supports his only child with Meri or not.
Sister Wives: Leon Brown Stays In A “Safer Place”
The Sister Wives star Gwen Brown recently revealed that her sibling Leon Brown has had an estranged relationship with almost everyone in the family. She admitted that Meri’s only child was always the “odd” one out because they never had a sibling. That was the main reason why they weren’t able to get along with anyone in the family. Gwen revealed another reason for Leon’s estrangement. She admitted that the Browns follow the strict Mormon culture and are partially against transsexuality.
Hence, Leon chooses to stay away from the family and prefers to be around people who are safer for them. As per Gwen, it wasn’t Meri’s child who parted ways with the Browns. They instead found people whom they could trust better and are now living in a “safe community.” Indeed, it is evident that Leon is leading a great life these days.
