The Sister Wives star Meri Brown was the first person to enter the Brown family. Indeed she had a good time in the early days of her marriage. But day by day, Kody’s disdain towards her increased a lot. Apparently, since 2015 when the TLC star was caught in the catfishing incident, Meri’s married life became dead. Her emotional and physical relationship ended, eventually leading to the spiritual marriage’s death after 32 years of togetherness.
In a recent preview of the special One on One episode by People, Meri finally accepted that she had parted ways with the patriarch. Apparently, this revealtion came when the host showed the footage of Kody accepting that he no longer considers himself married to his first wife anymore. The lone wolf expressed her frustration by saying that it simply doesn’t make sense to her. Apparently, Kody was frustrated with Christine because she never discussed anything and just took the decision to divorce him. But when it comes to his marriage with his first wife, he simply announced his decision and didn’t even consult with Meri.
The TLC star’s main concern is that Kody never confronted her regarding this issue. Even after all this, she claims that she is ready to reconcile with the patriach. But it is clear that the polygamist is no more in the mood to continue any kind of relationship with Meri. Not only this, but the lone wolf wanted to make her divorce public for a while now. Apparently, a source told InTouch that Meri claims that her husband’s assessment of their marriage prior to their split was inconsiderate. As per the source, it’s not the first time the father of 18 has insulted Meri, so it wasn’t surprising. Not only this, but the source further added that this was like a slap in the face of Meri and another reason to hate him. However, in the recent Tell All, she claims that ever since the couple was in Flagstaff, Kody has been portraying that he has been trying.
Not only this, but when the couple had their first anniversary in Flagstaff, Kody said, ‘Cheers to a new beginning’. But on the last anniversary, the scenario was completely opposite. Apparently, the patriarch was like that. He didn’t even know why Meri had called her on their anniversary. In addition to that, he also added that ‘We’re not married. We’re not acting as married’.
