Indeed, it’s a challenging task because claimants for her house’s funds are increasing daily. Recently Robyn had a claim over the downpayment on Christine’s house! To know more, keep on reading.
Sister Wives: Who Actually Paid Christine’s House Downpayment?
The Sister Wives Season 17 revolved around the aftermaths of the divorce, which included the selling and distribution of assets. Apparently, this could have been really easy if Kody didn’t poke his nose! According to Kody Brown, he deserves to get equal half of the funds from the house that is not even under his name just because he contributed to the downpayment! Weird, isn’t it? In the seventh episode, the patriarch claims that the downpayment money came from his and Robyn’s account!
The polygamist took the credit by saying that Christine couldn’t qualify for the finance, so he bought the house with her. Though she has been paying the mortgage payment, when it comes to down payments, it was his money that went down. So the funds from the house should go into the clearance of Coyote Pass. This was the story of Episode 7, but in Episode 8, things got topsy-turvy. During a conversation in the latter, Kody exclaims that the entire family came to help with the downpayment. This statement contradicts his previous claims about the payment!
Sister Wives: Janelle Stands Firm In Support Of Her Former Sister Wife!
The Sister Wives star Janelle Brown made the dynamics clear to the audience. In the latest episode, the star made it clear that ‘family money’ was used to make downpayments for both Christine and Robyn when the Browns moved to Arizona. Apparently, the amount for both of them was exactly the same. Meanwhile, Meri and Janelle were living in rented houses from the beginning. Janelle feels it was a fair deal as Christine has decided to keep the house’s funds and has given away her share in Coyote Pass to the Browns! Which is indeed a clean and easy deal!
But the Brown patriarch can never settle for the easy stuff. Kody wanted 50-50 from the house, from which he will get a green chit from Coyote Pass. After this, he will redivide the property, and only after that will enable the Browns to purchase Christine’s share from her! Christine’s plan was better right? She simply didn’t want to be a part of this chaos. Apparently, the ex-sister wife offered a fair deal because her house and her share in Coyote Pass were of the same value at that time. Hence, it was a clean transaction. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for all the latest Sister Wives updates.
