Sister Wives: What Is Kody & Christine’s Legal Battle All About?
Sister Wives star Christine Woolley is doing things that she should have done during her split. She recently filed paperwork to establish “Truely’s paternity.” The celeb wants Kody to take a paternity test because he isn’t mentioned as Truely’s father on her birth certificate. Christine further filed a petition for Child Custody, Parent Time, and Support.
She is requesting child support from Kody and wants a proper visiting schedule for him as well. This came after Kody and Christine talked about having a custody agreement in 202. However, it seems that they never acted upon it because now they are having a legal battle. Kody has now gathered his arms and is all set for his counterattack in court. What is this all about?
Sister Wives: Kody Finally Lawyers Up Against Christine In The Court
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has finally found a lawyer to fight against Christine in court. His lawyer only has one star out of five on Yelp and other lawyer-finding sites. However, the celeb’s representative appeared for him in court on October 13. They filed a response and counterclaim in the ongoing legal battle and decided to keep his petition’s details “not public.”
Kody and Christine are trying their best to keep the details of their legal issues out of the limelight. Hence, the former’s counterclaim can only be viewed by him, Christine, and their legal counsel. TheAshley further revealed that last month, another “Domestic Relations Injunction” was filed along with the ongoing petition.
This injunction stated that Christine and Kody couldn’t “harass, intimidate, or disturb” each other’s peace. They can’t commit any kind of “domestic violence or abuse” and can’t take Truely on any kind of trip. They would have to give each other the details of their journey as well as a means to connect with the star kid. Moreover, they can’t talk badly about each other in front of Truely nor influence her at all.
Neither Kody nor Christine can break these rules, and they would have to prevent each other from breaking these regulations as well. Fans were happy to see that the latter was finally taking things to court and was trying to take her daughter’s rights. They believe that Truely deserves to get her child support, and Kody should be held accountable. Keep coming back to the TV Season & Spoilers for more updates.
