Sister Wives: Kody Brown Friendzones Meri, Leaves Her “Lonely” During Pandemic!

Meri Brown finally opened up about her strained relationship with the celebrity polygamist in the previous episode of Sister Wives’ new season. Well, the couple legally separated in 2014, so Kody could lawfully marry Robyn. Meri never lost hope and believed that one day their relationship could improve. However, Kody later said that his relationship with Meri is somewhere in a darker place. Meanwhile, Meri thinks starting as a friend could help them strengthen their relation. Will it? Let’s find out!

Sister Wives: Meri Friendzone By Kody, Still Hopefull

While Meri stayed in her rental house during the entire lockdown period, Kody rarely showed up to see how was she was doing. In one of the episodes, the Brown patriarch visited her for her vote. So, he could decide whether they wanted to stay in Flagstaff or move back to Utah. On this, Meri seemed excited for the visit as he rarely visited her. But during that episode, the 52-year-old mentioned that he thinks he can call them good friends. As for their relationship, he doesn’t think there’s anything romantic left between them.

Speaking of which, the first wife added that she knows he friend-zoned her, and he thinks it’s pretty good. But, she shared that she hoped for more than that. The 50-year-old further explained that, at times, it feels pretty frustrated. Kody had said something that let her believe there was no way left that could improve their bond. But after their meet, she hopes for something best. While fans encouraged her to leave the plural marriage, she vowed that if she will, she wouldn’t be able to amend everything.

Sister Wives: Meri Feels Lonely When Kody Isn’t Around!

In a recent trailer, Meri pointed out that she’s running two businesses and was quarantined due to COVID-19. Further in the clip, “as a family, we haven’t spent much time together,” the first wife admitted. On the flip side, Kody once said that the main advantage of having a plural marriage is not feeling lonely. But it seems it doesn’t apply to Meri. During her confessional clip, she stressed that she felt lonely and missed her family.

Instead of supporting her, the family patriarch confessed that his relationship with his first wife seems relatively darker. He can’t frequently visit her just to talk all day. The previous episode already mentioned that Meri was living on her own and didn’t travel much. Janelle and Christine, on the other hand, were busy traveling. Despite this, Robyn didn’t allow her to spend time with her kids and Kody. The fourth wife even insisted on the 50-year-old quarantine for a while.
