According to what the Brown family initially said, a polygamous arrangement is about mutual consent. Unlike monogamous people, those in plural families are okay with their alternate lifestyle. However, from what fans have watched on Sister Wives for a long time, it doesn’t seem even remotely amicable when it comes to the relationship between the wives.
Even though they are technically a family, most of the time, it looks like they can’t even stand each other. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the wives revealed that none of their kids want to follow their polygamous lifestyle. Despite they all grew up in a plural family, the concept doesn’t entice them. Let’s take a look at this in detail.

Janelle stated that Madison, her eldest daughter who is 25 years old loves her upbringing. However, that’s not the way of life she wants to adopt in her marriage and her children’s future. Janelle acknowledges that even though they love having a large family, they don’t want to live that kind of lifestyle. The family believes in finding one’s own relationship with God and making one’s own choices. Just because they are doing something, doesn’t mean the kids should follow in their footsteps. Fortunately, they are pretty open about that.
Christine also revealed that her six children are open to polygamy as Robyn also agrees with Janelle about giving kids their own choices. But she also added that it’s not a decision someone makes right off the bat. It’s something some people decide collectively with their spouse. On the other hand, Kody is neutral about this and doesn’t meddle in their dating life. He thinks that it’s something to work out with your spouse.

It’s no secret that the Brown family has been a hub of personal issues. Two of the four marriages seem like a complete disaster if we take a look at the current season. On the other hand, Christine broke down in the trailer saying that she couldn’t do marriage with Kody anymore. Plus, by now they must have realized that chances are, the husband will have a favorite spouse. Yes, we are pointing to Robyn Brown and everybody knows that.
