Sister Wives is all set to return with a brand new season on TLC soon. The network just released a new trailer for the same, and fans can barely keep calm. Once Christine left, Janelle and Meri also began reflecting on the cracks in their marriage and made the decision to leave, too. Viewers already knew this after the stars opened up about this at last season’s Tell All. But now they will get to see it all unfold in the new season. Apart from this, Kody’s deteriorating bond with his kids will also feature in the show. The trailer had a section where Janelle’s son Garrison angrily spoke about not needing his father anymore.
Sister Wives: Garrison Rebels! Talks Of Not Needing Kody Anymore
Since the last two seasons, things have been quite chaotic in the Sister Wives family. It happened when Christine decided to make herself a priority. So, she quit her marriage Kody after he disrespected her multiple times. As the new trailer for Season 18 was released, fans saw how Janelle and Meri also came to the same conclusion. Well, their kids also feel the same way, it seems. That’s because the trailer contained a segment where Garrison was speaking his heart out. He angrily told Robyn to “have” Kody. The child star then admitted that all the adult kids don’t need a father figure anymore as they all are on their own.
Well, it was quite a shocking moment. Apart from Janelle, her dear friend, Christine, was also present during the conversation. Garrison’s statements made it obvious that the other kids recognize how biased Kody is towards her and their children. Christine also had a similar problem when she decided to part ways with the polygamist. She wanted him to accompany her to their daughter Ysabel’s very important scoliosis surgery, but he bailed by saying he wanted to protect himself from COVID-19.
However, Kody had no hesitation in going back on his words when it was time for him to travel to officiate his friends’ wedding during the pandemic last season. So, these have been some of the reasons why the Brown family children have also been disappointed in their father.

Kody and Robyn’s strict protocol for COVID-19 caused a major rift in the family. They stayed limited in their house and asked others to maintain distance, too. When the patriarch found out that Gabe and Garrison have been working and had an active social life, he got outraged. Things got so bad that the patriarch threatened to kick his sons out of the house for disobeying him. Well, Janelle was calm and simply said her husband couldn’t do so as his name wasn’t on the lease. But this fight created more trouble for Kody, Janelle, Gabe, and Garrison.
The trailer release made it obvious that there were still cracks in Gabe and Garrison’s relationship with their father. There was also a moment when Janelle tried to reason with her husband, calmy, but he began being rude. So, she lost her temper and dropped the F-bomb on Kody yet again, as she did a few seasons ago.
