As per UsWeekly’s new promo, the new Sister Wives episode is going to be about Thanksgiving 2020. Ever since the pandemic happened, Kody has distanced himself from the plural family. Moreso, he also refused to meet Janelle and Christine as they went against his “unrealistic” COVID-19 norms and continued to travel and work. In fact, Thanksgiving was just around the corner when the show was filming. Thus, all the main cast members got together to discuss meeting over dinner on the holiday. Eventually, both the wives decided against spending the day in Flagstaff with the rest of the plural family. Instead, they were in the hope of going to Utah to stay with their adult kids for the festival.
Therefore, this decision irked the Brown family patriarch. He tried to tell them he struggles at maintaining bonds in the plural family as he “sucks” at them. As the cast member said this, both the third and the second wife accused the husband of “guilt-tripping” them. Furthermore, they were also angry at him for making them choose between him as their kids. Without any second thought, Christine said her kids would win “every single time”. At one point, Janelle would also be walking away from Kody in a fury, as revealed through a promo. It will happen when he tries to tell her to “respect” what he wants. In the new season of Sister Wives, both Janelle and Christine face similar problems when dealing with the pandemic norms. That’s because she announced their divorce on Instagram. Now fans think that Janelle will go through the same thing and leave.
