Sister Wives Season 18 documented the way Garrison and Gabe gave up on Kody Brown. They made it clear that they didn’t want to have the latter as a father figure in their lives. These two even claimed that Robyn could have him now and that they would be happy without him. But the shocking part was that Garrison didn’t even mend fences with Kody before he took his life. He had a conversation with some of his siblings and Janelle while he didn’t bother to hash things out with his father.
Hence, Kody is left with mere regrets now. He recently opened up about how he wants to spend more time with Garrison and admitted that he thought they had “forever.” The patriarch isn’t able to process his son’s death and is grieving his demise. Sister Wives star Janelle Brown believes that Robyn never really explained to her kids that Kody would need to split his time and spend some days with other families, too! She even claimed that the noted couple “mismanaged” the dynamics as Kody couldn’t manage to stay away from Robyn’s family “for more than three or four days.” The celeb explained how Ariella used to get “sad” during her father’s absence, because of which he had to return.
However, it appears that Kody and Robyn aren’t ready to take such accusations. The latter explained that Ariella loves her father and wants to be “around” him. But she believes that this doesn’t mean her kids received some kind of special treatment. Robyn said to the cameras, “Did it ever stop Kody from going to another mom’s home? No, it didn’t.”
Robyn further accused other Sister Wives of not welcoming her kids from previous marriages. She claimed that only Meri was supportive, and the rest had issues accepting them as part of their family. But on the other hand, Janelle has a completely different story to tell. She is convinced that this was simply a case of “poor parenting.”
Janelle claimed that the rest of the kids also understood and were fine with it. Moreover, she accused Robyn of making some “strict” rules because of which children felt unwelcome in her house. This came after fans noticed a note on Robyn’s fridge that made it clear that anyone who wants a snack should either ask her or her nanny first.
