This time around, Gabe Brown, i.e., Janelle’s son, also insisted on something similar. Longtime viewers remember what a tight-knit bond the father-son duo had. But as the COVID-19 pandemic happened, things began to fall apart. But in a new episode, Gabe fearlessly called Kody out for failing to take accountability for his mess-ups! What happened?

In the previous Sister Wives season, Kody had a major feud with his sons Garrison and Gabe. He was willing to kick his sons out of Janelle’s house for not following his orders during COVID-19. That’s when viewers got furious and began to slam the insensitive cast member for making things worse and his awful parenting. When things shimmered down, Kody did it again.
Gabe had once mentioned during his confessional that Kody had called him when he had COVID. He wanted to know from his son what precautions he should take as Gabe already had it before. During this time, the patriarch had forgotten his son’s birthday, and Gabe began to cry after recalling it. Although Kody called him again, the ship had sailed. In the new episode, Gave looks very sure of himself, claiming that he wants to cut ties with his father.

In the new Sister Wives season, Gabe goes out with his mother, Janelle. That’s when they discuss his bond with Kody. He makes it clear that the only way they could fix things is if the patriarch apologizes. Strangely, when Kody reaches out to Gabe, he makes it seem like his son should apologize to him, too, making the situation more absurd.
Gabe believes that Kody couldn’t digest it how calm and composed his son was. He also said how the notorious cast member called his son “disloyal” just like his mother Janelle. Well, after so much havoc and no progress in the reconciliation department, Gabe knew what to do. He was fine with not fixing things and cutting his father off forever and that’s what he did.
Apart from this fallout, Gabe also dropped another major bomb. He said he didn’t really have a lot of respect for Kody’s remaining wife, Robyn. So, it was hard for the son to rationalize her actions. Hence, he was sure about not being in touch with them after cutting Kody off. Viewers were proud of Gabe for taking such a bold step, as it wouldn’t have been easy.
