But it seems that before they could have even executed their plan, Kody had to undergo three divorces leading to a chaotic situation when it comes to property. Since then, viewers have been curious to know about the state of Coyote Pass and whether the father of 18 has started building his dream house. To learn more about the same, keep on reading.
Sister Wives: Did Kody Start Building On Coyote Pass Property?
It has been five years now since Kody Brown purchased four parcels of land at Coyote Pass. Indeed, this piece of land has been a controversial topic amid almost all divorces of the patriarch. However, Sister Wives fans were curious to know about the current state of the disputed land. Recently, TheSun confirmed that the family property is still in the same condition as it was five years ago! As per the current scenario, no activity is going on, and the land is covered in snow.
Trees surround the bleak plot of land and have a dense forest around it. Kody’s land has a road and a “Canadian Cedar log” fence which made it clear that there is no sign of construction. However, there is a fair chance that the land’s dues weren’t paid off till now, because of which the TLC stars couldn’t start building their houses. As per the reports, June 2023 is the last month to pay for their property. On the other hand, Coyote Pass is near a dense forest. It would need approval for electricity and water lines. Hence, these might be the reasons why CP is still a barren land.
Sister Wives: Who Is The Owner Of Coyote Pass?
The Sister Wives Browns had a “perfect” plan for their family property which they weren’t able to implement till now. During the divorces, viewers wondered what would be the fate of the bleak plot. Eventually, Christine Brown decided to sell off her part to Kody for just $10, which originally was worth $300,000. On the other hand, Meri and Janelle have also parted ways but still own their portion in CP.
As per the current scenario, Janelle holds rights to 32.2% of the Flagstaff property, while Meri is entitled to own only 15.5%. This makes their share 4.66 acres and 2.24 acres, respectively. While the lone wolf has the smallest area, Robyn happens to own more than half of the land. Apparently, her portion added to Kody’s and Christine’s makes a huge mass of land under her name. Hence, there is a fair chance that in the near future, both Meri and Janelle will also sell their part to Kody and Robyn, making them the sole owners of it.
