Sister Wives: Christine Reconciled With Her Mother After Ditching Kody Brown?

Christine Brown and her mother, Annie Stevens, have had a complicated relationship. It turns out that the latter was also in a plural marriage, just like her daughter. But five years after the third wife married Kody Brown, she found out her mother had separated from her father. After a while, in 1999, Annie started to expose the cons of polygamy. She even left the church and stopped associating with their religion. Christine talked about how many people came to her and urged her to cut ties with her mother.

Well, that’s precisely what happened, and the star stopped mentioning her mother completely in her posts and episodes. However, the new post on her Instagram says otherwise. It looks like Christine and Annie finally made up with one another. The former shared on her Instagram stories that her mother, Annie, was spending time with her daughter, Mykelti’s twins, Archer and Ace Padron. That’s when the Sister Wives fanbase assumed that both of them had made peace with each other.

Christine also stated that her mother and her grandkids spending time with each other was the “highlight” of her Superbowl weekend. Despite so many speculations, neither she nor her mother, Annie, has confirmed anything about their reconciliation or what made them come together. But all the deductions suggest that it happened after Christine finally left her toxic polygamous marriage to Kody brown. After all, the Sister Wives star was unhappy for years, and the couple couldn’t sort out their differences.

Sister Wives: Christine Once Accused Her Mother Annie Of ‘Wrecking Her World’

While talking about her mother, Christine Brown mentioned that she knew her mother was going to leave her marriage a year before it actually happened. Annie Stevens also compared her feeling of being in an unhappy marriage to that of “living a lie.” Kody’s former third wife stated that her mother left her husband and her “faith,” which wrecked Christine’s entire world. Back when her daughter Aspyn turned four years old, the mother of six found out that her mother organized a group that was against “plural marriage.”

It was initially supposed to be a “support” group but ended up becoming an “antagonistic” group, as per Kody Brown in Sister Wives Season 8. After this incident, the Browns got worried and thought Christine’s mother, Annie, could be “dangerous” to the family. At last, she told her mom that she couldn’t be around the six kids. Well, at last, Annie stopped being a part of the group as they started going after plural families and marriages. Their bond strengthened as Christine moved to Las Vegas in 2016.
