The TLC reality show Sister Wives has always been a mosaic of never-ending drama, emotions, and above all, MISTAKES! Previous episodes of Sister Wives featured Christine breaking the news to Kody’s other spouses. Later they revealed the news to their children as well. Some took the news hard; the rest were initially confused but accepted it later. Everyone could feel the dynamics change in the family except the couple’s youngest daughter, Truely. She is just 12 years old now and too young to notice her parents’ deteriorating marriage. But recently though by mistake, she finally knows the truth. In a clip from the Oct 16 episode, Christine is talking to her elder daughter Mykelti. They converse about how excited they are about Christine relocating to Utah. However, the ex-sister wife didn’t realize until she heard Truely gasp behind her!
Unfortunately, Truely heard it all! Though the couple decided prior that they would break this news together to their daughter. But the mother of six realized the moment of urgency and decided to tell Truely the COMPLETE TRUTH. She sat her 12-year-old down and accepted that only they both were moving to Utah. Truely started to cry, but Christine calmed her down and continued. Truely with a shattered face asked if her parents were getting divorced!
The mother of six then and there decided not to let her daughter’s hope catch wings and exclaimed that they had already been divorced! Truely was completely shattered and cried her heart out.
Sister Wives: Christine Didn’t Know When Her Marriage Actually Ended!
The Sister Wives star confessed that it was very difficult for her to understand when her marriage was actually over. The couple never had a legal marriage. They were spiritually married in 1994 and never had any contract that could legally come to an end. It was in the heat of the moment when Christine finally decided her marriage wasn’t going to end, but it had already ENDED! She exclaimed that they were both moving to Utah, and she had already parted ways with her 12-year-old’s dad!
Two of Christine’s elder daughters, Mykelti and Ysabel, saw this coming. They knew their parents weren’t in love anymore and could sense their unhappy marriage! Both were sad but relieved.
