Sister Wives Season 15 ended on a note where Christine’s daughter Ysabel Brown was about to have surgery. Ysabel was diagnosed with painful curvature of her spine, scoliosis. She was left with no other option than to go through the surgery for the cure. In the finale episode, fans saw Kody trying to convince her daughter to delay the surgery. He wanted the surgery to be postponed for another six months because of the COVID 19 situation.
However, neither Christine nor Ysabel agreed with the same. Christine no longer wanted her daughter to go through the pain. She knew that Ysabel can no longer handle the pain. Kody then found another way to convince both.
The star stated to her daughter that she will have to through the surgery by herself if done in September. If she waits for another six months, then only she can have him and her mother by the side. It was pretty harsh and blatant. Starcasm reports Ysabel breaking down and crying after hearing Kody’s words. Ysabel’s heart-melting words were, “I’m not going to get surgery by myself.”
To this, Christine melts down and confirms to her daughter that she will be there by her side. Kody later realized that he was too rude to his daughter. He then blames Christine for being responsible for all. He claimed to have been surrounded by the loudness of Christine’s needs. Therefore, he easily got frustrated when Ysabel brought her need in front. Kody further felt bad that he won’t be able to be there with Ysabel for her surgery.

The star captioned, “Ysabel is in surgery now! We’re so excited!!! Thanks for all your prayers and positivity…” The photos were shared around late September. Indeed, Christine kept her daughter’s health issues above her husband’s advice. On October 1, Ysabel’s mother shared the good news that her daughter successfully had the surgery. She wrote, “Everything went great, Ysabel! A complete success!”
