Seeking Sister Wife focuses on many polygamous families. All these families are Mormon and are either looking for a sister wife or have found one and are preparing her for the life ahead. The Winder family appeared in Seasons 2 and 3 of the show.
Colton Winder is the head and has two wives, Tami and Sophie. He has children with both women. Recently, Sophie Winder shared another amazing news with the fans. A new member will be joining the family in March!
Seeking Sister Wife: Sophie Winder Pregnant Again, Baby Arrives In March
Both Sophia and Tami have suffered from fertility issues. The former even had a miscarriage earlier this year. However, the family’s dark days may be past them now. Sophie recently shared some great news with the Seeking Sister Wife fans. And they are really happy for the family.
The TLC star announced on the official Winder family Instagram account that she was expecting again. Sophie made this announcement on October 18, 2023. The announcement post had many family photos. In the caption, Sophie revealed that the new baby was a girl. The post also said that the baby would be here “this coming March.” A little over a month later, the star also shared a sonogram of the baby. However, this post also had some family photos.
Sophie had given an update on her pregnancy on December 8. The star revealed that she was “27 weeks” pregnant. Sophie also said in the caption that she “can’t wait” to meet her little girl. Another update arrived five days before Christmas.
In the new update, the Seeking Sister Wife star talked about having “heartburn and not being able to” sleep. Sophie shared the family’s Christmas photo and shared that everyone was very “excited” to meet the baby girl.
Seeking Sister Wife: Sophie & Tami’s “Fertility & Health Issues”
Both of Colton Winder’s wives have struggled to get pregnant and maintain the pregnancies. Tami had been very open about her fertility struggles. However, she was able to get pregnant again, and the family got to know about the pregnancy on Christmas 2022. Soon after, Sophie also followed with her own second pregnancy.
Sophie was pregnant a second time by New Year’s Eve of 2022. However, the pregnancy had a tragic end as the Seeking Sister Wife star miscarried the baby. The miscarriage happened a few weeks after the 2022 New Year’s Eve. Sophi had shared the sad news on the family’s official Instagram page. She was sad but stayed resilient and positive. The star also shared a video she had recorded from the hospital on YouTube. In the video, Sophie positively talked about the whole miscarriage experience.
