Ever since the Browns introduced themselves as a plural family on Sister Wives, viewers took an instant liking. While the concept of polygamy was new to the audience at first, it became a hit. Following this, TLC couldn’t resist but launched a brand new show, Seeking Sister Wife.
As the name suggests, not one but many plural families began appearing in this series. It has been interesting to see new people and recurring ones and get a daily dose of tea about their everyday happenings. Now, the channel has recently announced that a new season will surely return earlier this year!
Seeking Sister Wife Season 5 Release Date
By now, it has been six years since viewers began watching Seeking Sister Wife. The show went on air in the year 2018 and ended up being a massive hit. While the concept of polygamy remained the same in every family, every house had its own set of beliefs and norms, making each storyline very different from one another.
As per the new lineup, the new season, i.e., Season 5, will soon be taking over TV. As per the details, there will be a total of five families who will depict their journeys. Out of this, three will be new ones, while two will return from previous seasons. Well, the release date is sooner than you think, and the new episodes will hit the screens ahead of March 4, 2023.
The details also mentioned how these new families have been “determined” to open their hearts and homes to “new wives.” But fans already know that this will also ensure a lot of chaos and drama, making up for a good reality TV experience. As they say, the challenges of courting and looking for new partners in Seeking Sister Wife will continue to persist.
Seeking Sister Wife: Who All Are Returning For The New Season?
Out of all the plural families who have been part of Seeking Sister Wife, most of them quit. But some of them have also entertained the audience by doing multiple seasons. As per the details for Season 5, families will be returning, but they didn’t mention which ones.
Well, avid fans have already figured out that one of the clans has already announced and confirmed their return in the upcoming season. It is none other than the Merrifields. Danielle had shared a picture of her living room with heavy camera equipment all over it. While the picture already gave it away, the caption also said that they were “coming back” for Season 5.
While there is no disclosure like this about the other recurring family, fans have their doubts. Many of them feel the Davises will return. Their storyline last season also ended when Nick tied the knot with Danielle, i.e., the third wife. Jennifer had also given birth to a sweet baby girl by then.
