In a new episode, Sutton was spending time with her friends and cast members Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais. The ladies had come to the former’s hometown, Augusta. It was a hard moment for Sutton.
That’s because Sutton was going to visit the very house in which her father, John T. Brown, took his own life. It was a heavy moment for her as she got candid about a lot of dark things. She said how her father was suffering from depression and had to be on heavy medication for the same. All of this was happening when she was in her early 20s.
The medical professionals had Sutton’s father on some really heavy pills to “regulate stuff.” But he would also “self-medicate” with alcohol. and remained “confused.” With a broken heart, the Real House Wive star admitted having moments with her father where he had talked about killing himself. He never went to therapy for his condition. It was all very “disjointed” for him.
Alas, there came a moment when Sutton’s dad couldn’t win over his battle with depression. He resorted to shooting himself with a gun and took his own life. The ladies, i.e., Sutton, Kyle, and Garcelle, had decided to visit the former’s childhood home where the unfortunate incident happened. Sutton struggled a bit with the crying and getting herself out of the car.
Later, while sobbing, Sutton talked about how much she loved her father and missed him every day as Kyle and Garcelle were inside her old home. At last, she also spotted a place near the couch while mentioning it was the place where she saw her father alive for the last time.
