Queen Camila Gives An Update
The Royal Family is facing a major crisis as King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer a few months right after his coronation. Adding to the distress, Kate Middleton was also diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The news shocked the United Kingdom, with many speculating about King Charles’s deteriorating health.
However, the King continues to discredit these rumors by making frequent public appearances to fulfill his royal duties. Queen Camilla recently shared an update on her husband’s health. She said that the King would recover if he “behaved himself.” The Queen is obviously worried about the Majesty’s health as he fulfills his royal responsibilities.
Despite needing rest, he recently hosted a tea garden party with family and friends at Buckingham Palace. During the event, Queen Camilla shared the positive news of his expected recovery but expressed frustration over his reluctance to rest as advised.
King Charles is undergoing cancer treatment and is expected to attend five events in 48 hours. The Queen said that the King is recovering really well but is frustrated because he is unable to attend the National Trust event.
Will the Royal Family Celebrate Harry and Meghan’s Anniversary?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 19th, as they enter their seventh year together. However, it’s unclear if the Royal family will acknowledge their anniversary.
Recently, they didn’t publicly congratulate Prince Archie or attend the Duke of Sussex’s Invictus Games event on May 8th. Furthermore, they were also a no-show at the Deadman Victoria House.
According to Grant Harrold, a former royal butler, the royal family usually acknowledges wedding anniversaries with social media posts. He noted that if they do not do so this year, it will highlight the ongoing division within the family.
If they do, it could be seen as an olive branch. We don’t know if the King or the Queen will publicly acknowledge the anniversary after so many issues are boiling up between the family.
