Prince William and Princess Kate have been staying low-key since the latter’s cancer news made waves. But seems like atleast of one them has taken a little break. Recently, folks spotted William sneaking off to the pub with his mother-in-law, Carole Middleton.
Their visit comes amid whispers about Middleton’s money troubles. Sources reported that their outing was super chill, saying it was “very low-key, with no great fanfare.” Keep scrolling to know all about it!
Prince William Hangs Out With Kate’s Mum
The Daily Mail reported that Prince William popped into a pub in North Norfolk over the weekend with his mother-in-law. Carole Middleton is believed to be staying with the royal couple for Easter.
However, Kate was nowhere to be seen during the outing. It is believed that the princess is dealing with her health issues privately. Kensington Palace preferred not to say anything about the Daily Mail’s story.
The Middletons live close to the Wales royals in Windsor. They are always around their grandkids, often having George, Charlotte, and Louis over for sleepovers. A palace insider revealed, “Her (Kate) parents are an enduring factor in the upbringing of their children.” They will be there to help when the Princess of Wales heads back to Windsor to rest up.
As for the Middletons, there’s talk about them having money issues. Their company, Party Pieces Company, went under in June last year. A source told US Weekly, “Party Pieces has collapsed, and it’s been devastating for the family.” Initially, their debt was much higher, over $3.16 million, when their business collapsed in June 2023. Now, The Times reported that the couple owed over $330,000 in debts. Mind you all, Kate and her folks are super tight.
However, Carole is currently focusing on Kate’s well-being and wants her daughter to stay out of the financial matter.
