Prince Harry ‘Declined’ Wedding Invite Of A Friend Due To [THIS] Person!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been residing in California since they stepped back from their royal responsibilities. This means they’re not really a part of any royal family function either. However, the Duke of Sussex is invited to the wedding of the Duke of Westminster, but reports are that he won’t be attending it. READ here to find out the reason for his absence from a friend’s wedding.

Prince Harry Will Not Attend The Wedding Of Hugh Grosvenor

The Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, is all set to marry Olivia Henson on June 7 at Chester Cathedral. This wedding has been dubbed the ‘society wedding of the year.’ Prince Harry has been invited to the wedding, but both parties have recognised the issues of his attendance.

According to People, Harry was invited, but it would be difficult for him to attend since Prince William is expected to serve as an usher. Even though Hugh and Harry are close, he had to decline the invitation.

A source told the outlet, “understanding between the two friends” as to why the prince was unable to attend. Another insider also said that the Prince and Duke mutually made an agreement. This decision came into the scenario after releasing the issues between estranged brothers William and Harry. If the duo attends the wedding, then it might overshadow the big day for the couple in the centre.

The publication also highlighted the obstacles that might arise if Prince Harry was to attend the Duke’s special day. Among them was security issues since his official security was removed after he stepped back from royal duties. He wouldn’t be able to live in Frogmore Cottage, which was their former home in Windsor Great Park.

Hugh’s Relationship With The Royal Family

As for best wishes, Prince Harry sends his love and support to the couple. Royal family fans must know that Hugh is the godfather of Harry’s son, Prince Archie, and William’s son, Prince George. In further relationship with the royal family, King Charles is Hugh’s godfather, and his mother is Prince William’s godmother.

Along with the Prince of Wales, there will be other notable additions to the most royal nonroyal wedding of the year. However, King Charles and Princess Kate who are undergoing cancer treatment will not be attending the wedding.

We know that the Princess of Wales has remained out of the spotlight since she shared the news about her health in March. In addition, King Charles resumed his public-facing duties in April after the palace announced his diagnosis in February.

He will be in France at a royal D-Day commemoration event a day before, so it is unlikely for him and Queen Camilla to be making an appearance. For more updates on the Duke of Westminster’s wedding and royal family, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers!
