Prince Harry was given a heads up that he needs to be careful about what he spills to the media. The Duke better keep things to himself if he is keen on patching things up with his brother, Prince William. Harry shouldn’t blab to the press about any potential sit-downs with the royals when he jets back to the UK next month.
Anyway, he’s due to pop by for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. So, will Harry’s visit come with unexpected twists and turns?
Prince Harry Has to Watch What He Says Publicly
The Royal expert Kinsey Schofield stated that Prince William will be more cautious about meeting Prince Harry this time. He told TalkTV, “Prince William will be much more protective of their [his family] privacy at this point in time.” She pointed out how Harry spilled the beans about discovering the King’s cancer on ABC News. “So I think Prince William might be more hesitant than the King to have that 1:1 time with him.”
Moreover, Schofield believes private meetings would be a real litmus test. The royals are going to test whether Prince Harry leaks any information or not. If he does, it’s a sign that they can’t trust him with the personal stuff. She added that keeping it hush-hush would be better for everyone involved.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is gearing up for his UK visit with optimism, as are Prince William and King Charles. However, a source revealed that the Duke sent out a plea to Meghan Markle, asking her to tag along for his Invictus Games event. They added that Harry is done with his “solo trips to the UK.” Remember when he visited Charles after getting a cancer diagnosis call? Yeah, Meghan stayed put for that one.
Here’s Why Meghan Won’t Bring Kids to the UK
Furthermore, the word on the street is Prince Harry and Meghan originally planned to bring their kids along. But when the Invictus Games dates surfaced, Markle hit the brakes. She’s not feeling like bringing the little ones over to London due to security reasons. Earlier, Meghan turned down an invite from the royals of Wales, citing the same security reasons for her family.
It stemmed from Harry losing the court battle for protection for him and his family in London. In addition, the Duke is also not keen on bringing his kids, Archie and Lilibet. He’ll stay firm on the stance unless the Home Office sorts out that whole police protection snafu. Let’s see if we catch a glimpse of both the Sussex crew in the UK.
