Prince Harry: Inside Harry and Meghan’s Cotswolds Secret Getaway

After their marriage, Prince Harry and Meghan moved into Frogmore Cottage but had to revamp it before settling in. During all the construction, they stayed in the Cotswolds property, located in Oxfordshire. It was worth £2.5 million in 2018.

Additionally, The Mirror reported that the house spanned “a farmhouse, a separate two-bedroom cottage for staff and guests, and a converted barn.” Insiders also spilled that the Sussexes loved walking the dogs there and entertaining their friends in complete solitude.

Those pals included George and Amal Clooney. In his memoir ‘Spare,’ Harry talked about Frogmore Cottage, hoping he would live there forever. “Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop.”

The King evicted Prince Harry and his wife from Frogmore last year, even though they left the U.K. in 2020. The royal family made the decision so that Harry no longer had a primary residence in the U.K.

Furthermore, royal author Tom Quinn noted that Prince Harry was absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore. “He felt his father had no right to do it and that it was purely vindictive.” Anyway, the Duke appears to be doing fine even without a house in his home country.

Earlier this month, the US-based royals celebrated the third birthday of their daughter, Lilibet. They had a few neighbours, including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, and Ellen DeGeneres.
