Prince Harry And Meghan Left Off Trooping the Colour Guest List Yet AGAIN!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won’t make it to the Trooping the Colour later this month. Turns out, the royal family hasn’t extended an invitation to the Sussexes for this year’s annual celebration of the British monarch’s birthday. The bash will take place on June 15 in the capital city of London.

But it’s not surprising since the US-based royals weren’t invited last year either. Most notably, it was the first Trooping the Colour under King Charles, Harry’s father. Is this another move by the royals to further escalate the feud with the Duke?

Prince Harry And Not Attending Trooping the Colour

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been living in California since stepping back as working royals in 2020. The duo previously turned up at Trooping the Colour together in 2018, just one month after their wedding. Moreover, they attended the event again in 2019, just weeks after the birth of their son, Prince Archie. However, the royals scaled it down in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hosting at Windsor Castle without a large gathering.

Prince Harry and Meghan didn’t join the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony at the event held in 2022.

Furthermore, the Sussexes jetted off to London for a special Trooping the Colour, coinciding with Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Interestingly, the couple didn’t join the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony. They opted to witness the festivities from a room above the Horse Guards Parade among other non-working royals. Anyway, the Duke last set foot in the U.K. in May to celebrate ten years of the Invictus Games.

However, Prince Harry didn’t reunite with Charles due to the British Monarch’s busy schedule. Thankfully, the father-son duo did meet briefly in February when Harry visited him amid news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, there were doubts about Trooping the Colour happening this year after PM Rishi Sunak announced the general election. But the Ministry of Defence confirmed on May 29 that the event would proceed as planned.

Prince Harry/ Princess Kate is gearing up to grace The Trooping Colours.

Much to everyone’s delight, the Reigning Monarch will grace the event despite his cancer treatment. In addition, he will travel in a horse-drawn carriage alongside Queen Camilla instead of riding horseback. The palace also updated Princess Kate’s involvement amid her preventative therapy. We’re still debating whether Middleton will join the royal family on June 15. After all, she has attended every year since marrying Prince William in 2011, except during the pandemic.

But one thing is for sure: Kate won’t take the salute at the Colonel’s Review on June 8. Lieutenant General James Bucknall will step in to do the honours. We know the folks will miss Prince Harry and Meghan, but the event will continue with its traditional pomp!
