An incident from 2020 came in the limelight a few years ago that shocked everyone. Apparently, everyone’s favorite Grandma Mimi was in trouble with the cops. As per the reports, she was driving on her own in League City, Texas. Because of some strange behavior noticeable to cops, they pulled her over.
As per the officials, Mimi’s car had swerved quite a few times and was also straddling the white shoulder line. On further inquiry, they realized she was under the influence as she failed sobriety tests. Because of this, she also had a charge under her name for the same. But, Michelle Theriot avoided jail time as there is leniency for first time offenders.
So, Grandma Mimi was under community supervision for over a year and was a part of the diversion program. Since these incidents, OutDaughtered fans never got to see her with the Busbys. So, speculations began that the family must have cut ties with her since this case.
