Adam and Danielle have often showcased all the fun adventures they have with their six daughters. Out of them, five are quints, and one of them is a pre-teen, Blayke. Hence, the parents went in for a regular eye check-up and received major news regarding their little girl! So, how did it go?
OutDaughtered: Major UPDATE About Hazel’s Eyes!
The latest OutDaughtered episode had some massive revelations. For instance, Danielle and Adam decided to change Hazel’s eye Doctor. Long-time fans must know how nystagmus causes her eyes to have uncontrolled movements. They looked for someone who was closer to their house, and it was their first appointment with them. Apparently, it went well. Danielle mentioned how Hazel refrains from talking much around the doctors, but it didn’t happen this time around. Moreover, the parents had more reasons to be concerned about.
As it was a new eye doctor, the Busbys wondered what if they caught something the previous doctors may have missed. But they were thrown completely off-guard with a new update. The ophthalmologist revealed that Hazel has “20/30” vision and won’t require surgery. Unlike their previous doctor, who had told the OutDaughtered castmates that Hazel might have to undergo one more operation. Hence, it was a piece of great news for the family, and they talked about it to the cameras with huge grins on their faces.
OutDaughtered: Danielle Stands Up For Hazel! Won’t Let Her Eyesight Be A “Handicap”
While the family received incredible news about Hazel, she has had her fair share of struggles in the past. OutDaughtered viewers must know by now that she is kind of a late bloomer compared to all other quints. Hence, it takes her more time to excel at something compared to her other sisters. In the new season, all other siblings have been able to ride their bikes flawlessly without any support. But that wasn’t the case with Hazel. There was also a segment featuring her falling instantly when trying to bike on her own. So, Adam and Danielle had a discussion about the same.
While Papa Busby was a bit concerned, his wife was firm. She stated how the family should stop thinking about Hazel’s eyes immediately whenever she struggles anywhere. Hence, the matriarch didn’t want it to be a handicap. She wanted her daughter to work hard, struggle, do things at her own pace, and finally accomplish her goals. In short, she was clear about not babying her kids whenever they found it hard to do something.
