Since then, the couple had been on house arrest, awaiting prison sentencing, which took place in November 2022. At last, they will be spending time in federal prison for 19 years combined. While Todd Chrisley has to serve 12 years, his wife has received seven years. Following this, reality show fans are curious about what the future holds regarding their TV careers.
As per reports, Todd and Julie Chrisley had filmed episodes for Chrisley Knows Best Season 10. While Channel E announced its renewal in May 2022, its guilty conviction came out a month later, in June 2022. Hence, the family reportedly shot for a few episodes before their trial. Chances are that the TV network will premiere these episodes and put an end to the show after that. Since the guilty verdict came out about Todd and Julie Chrisley, many officials speculated their prison sentencing to be around 30 years. But the verdict was finally out by the federal prosecutors regarding the same. It turns out that both husband and wife will serve time in jail for 19 years combined. While Todd Chrisley has to be in prison for 12 years, his wife will go in for 7 years. Initially, the family wished for the prosecutors not to be “harsh” as they had to look after their Nanny Faye suffering from bladder cancer, and their kid, Grayson, and Kyle’s daughter, Chloe.
At first, Todd’s attorney was hoping he would get a prison sentence of fewer than nine years. On the other hand, his wife, Julie, wanted a “porabation” and expected a combination of “incarceration” and “home detention”. Alas, it was no use. However, Chrisley’s team of lawyers is not losing hope. They wish to appeal for a “new trail” as they believe that the couple is innocent. Judge Eleanor L. Ross from Georgia Federal Court, northern district, was present during the sentencing.
