Samantha is supposedly one of the giant people on My 600-lb Life. Her struggle with food addiction is very well known. She is featured on season 9 that premiered on December 30, 2020. The fans were introduced to the 35-year-old who was attempting to reach Dr. Now’s goal of getting surgery. However, it seems that she is more addicted to food than her health. She is aware that if she doesn’t control her eating habits, she’d be bedridden. After all, she’s already having a hard time moving around.
As reported by Soapdirt, she dropped out of high school and got pregnant at 17. However, just two weeks after her baby was born, she broke up with her boyfriend. She raised her daughter, Bella, all by herself. When she turned up on the show, she was already heavy. But her weight increased by 140 pounds leaving no choice but to attempt a gastric bypass surgery on her. This surgery helped her in getting rid of some weight, and now, she’s in a better place.
Samantha Earns Money By Eating Cakes, Fans Slam Her
Apart from her struggle with her weight, Samantha grappled with earning money. She records herself eating food, and people pay her to watch her videos. The reality star sits in her living room and records herself, consuming large quantities of food. She also clicks pictures while eating, and people love to pay her for watching her snaps. Not to mention, the fans didn’t like it. In fact, they continue to slam her for this.
Samantha’s episode featured her eating carrot cake by using her stomach as a table. Apparently, the fans were shocked to see her way of earning money. Despite this, Samantha ranted that she eat cakes for a living. She went on to share that she has been addicted to food all her life. So much so that she wakes up with food on her mind and goes to sleep thinking about food. However, now, she’s working hard to improve herself.
