Larry joined the TLC show to control his obesity. He made his appearance on the My 600 Lb Life in January 2022. Now, Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits lost his life at the mere age of 49. He was at his Houston, Texas, residence at the time of his passing. Their family spokesperson, Sonya Hines-Hall, revealed the sudden passing of the cast member to TMZ.
Moreover, his cousin, Todd Darnell, also announced the tragic loss in a Facebook post on June 17. He was filled with utmost grief while sharing that his cousin Larry Myers Jr. had passed away. Todd claimed it happened due to a heart attack. Darnell stated that his cousin had overcome some of the biggest battles of his life. Then, the family member ended his post by saying he would be missed forever.
Further, Larry’s family has started a GoFundMe page to gain funds for his funeral. They created the page to raise at least $35000 to cover the costs of bringing his body back home to New York. Moreover, Sonya Hines also remembered some excellent things about the My 600 Lb Life star. She said that Myers always made time for special events anytime someone requested him to do so. Also, she pointed out his achievements in singing and weight loss. Sonya added that his weight never stopped him from being a loving person. She concluded her post by requesting everyone to attend his funeral for the last rites.
