She thinks it is progress, though. In the preview, she says that 22 pounds aren’t anywhere close to the 100 pounds that Dr. Now had asked her to lose, but that isn’t zero either. Through tears, Kenae’ says in the episode sneak peek. In the sneak peek, she is also seen saying that she hadn’t lost any weight in months and years because she had never tried. Kenae’ says that she left the with the spirit that she had a chance. Her chance was if she tried to do what Dr. Now and his program told her to do, there is a chance that she can have the life-changing surgery she needs. Kenae’ says that she wants to live. She does not want to live for any other reason than the fact that God has something else planned for her. Being obese is her fault, and she takes all the blame for her.

After Kenae’ tells Dr. Now all of that, he asks her what she wants him to do now. To this, Kenae tells him that he has done everything he can. He gave her the diet that was on the paper. She could really have just googled the diet. To this, Dr. Now tells her that she couldn’t have googled this diet plan. However, Kenae’ continues to stand her point.
Continuing on, Kenae’ tells him that she isn’t taking this opportunity lightly. She is just telling him that she has been seeing him for two months, and losing the 22 pounds wasn’t easy. It was very, very hard. But before that, she hasn’t lost anything. So, she is just trying to tell him that she is trying. However, Dr. Now does not tells Kenae’ what she wants to hear. Instead, he says that he would be lying if he said that she is doing good. The reality is that she isn’t doing good.
My 600-Lb Life: Why Did Kenae’ Go To Doctor Now?
In her growing up years, Kenae’ and her mother had a very close and common love for food. After her mothers’ death, Kenae’ had an uncontrollable desire to eat, and it worsened over time. She found out that she was weighing more than 600 pounds. Then a tornado took her sister-in-law’s fiancé’s home. This left the whole family moving into one house while they take care of each other.
After this tragic event, Kenae’ had a new purpose in life along with her husband. They were acting as surrogate parents to their nieces and nephews. Now, weighing so much, Kenae’ is dependent on her nieces and nephews to help her have the basic hygiene and move around the house. She then decided that she did not want to be a burden on the family. Hence she went to Dr. Now, who could help her control her eating and help her get the health back on track. However, Kenae’ refusing to admit the pain over her mothers’ death has affected her both mentally and physically in a way that might be a big challenge in her journey to be happy and healthy.
