MILF Manor: Is The Concept A Dupe Of The 30 Rock?
The MILF Manor is something everyone is talking about these days. Apparently, it is a brand new show which will have eight confident, strong women who believe that there’s no age bar to finding love. Hence the contestant criteria have women who are between 40 to 60. But it seems that this so-called brand new concept has a resemblance with the 30 Rock joke of MILF Island. Yes, you heard it right. The show’s basic notion corresponds with a 14-year-old show. So did TLC go out of shows and concepts and decided to bring back stuff?
To be fair towards it. The MILF Manor might not be an exact copy of 30 Rock. As per the recent status, the eight eager-to-find-love women won’t be paired up with fifth-grade boys. However, the trailers are hinting that there might be a huge twist. But the expectations with the twist revolve around having their sons as potential young men and not eighth-grade guys. Not only this, it isn’t shot on an island as well. Hence, it is safe to say that the concept might resemble the 14-year-old satire show. But it is not an exact copy of it.
But what was 30 Rock’s idea of MILF island? Apparently, this concept comes from a season two episode of the show, which was titled MILF Island. In the episode, Tracy Jordan’s character is obsessed with a show which Alec Baldwin’s Jack Donaghy. It is about “25 super hot moms, 50 eighth-grade boys, no rules”. Hence, there were speculations that TLC stole the concept of 30 Rock. But it seems that these are just speculations, and MILF Manor is a completely original concept.
MILF Manor: All About Cast & Their Hopes To Find Love
As per the teaser and the latest news, MILF Manor has a 47-year-old who owns a fitness studio. Apparently, she is a Mexican native who now lives in Miami. Adding further to the list, the show has another contestant who is known as “disco mommy”. Apparently, the celeb is from Orange County, California. The next in the line is from New Jersey and is a 44-year-old. She decided to move to Los Angeles. To add up more hotness and content, the show makers are bringing in a 59-year-old fitness instructor who is a singer as well and is from Los Angeles. Last but not least MILF Manor will also have a 50-year-old event planner.
However, it seems that all the contestants are hopeful that they will find true love in younger men on the show. A participant claimed that it’s her time to find love now. Another one added, saying that she is ready to find someone who will love her irrespective of her age. Not only this, “MILF” stands for “Mom I’d Like (to) F–k”.
