However, it seems that Whitney has a lot of pain inside her about her body weight. Recently, she opened up about the hurtful things her dad said to her once about her body weight.
In a new clip, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star had a serious conversation with her friend, Tal, about her dating life. Tal decided to give his friend a reality check about her romantic life. He stated, “The one thing that you were always saying that holds you back romantically is your size.” Tal noted that Thore had no issues attracting men when she was thin.
Whitney agreed with her friend’s opinion. Tal went ahead to ask her if she could consider losing weight again if it would make things easier for her. Whitney finally stopped eating and chose to recall a hurtful memory. She explained how her dad had given a similar talk years ago. Moreover, the TLC star explained, “He said, Well, you know when I met your mother, if she had been your size, I would have never looked at her twice.”
Whitney admitted that her dad’s words almost killed her because her mother’s looks were the last thing he valued. She wiped off her tears before expressing her emotions. Further, she added, “But he would have never known any of that if she just weren’t thin.” The TLC star was disappointed with her father’s remarks about her late mother.
