But now she gave away her mom’s last memory to someone else. In a recent teaser, Whitney was seen giving away her mom’s wedding dress to her friend for a party she was throwing in Barbara’s memory. She opened the box and stated, “So, you get to wear my mother’s dress.”
Her friend shouted with excitement and said, “I can’t fit in that,” while Whitney assured her. However, fans started lashing out at the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star for making a spectacle out of her mom’s passing. Several fans rushed to the comment section and expressed their anger.
It wasn’t the first time fans attacked Whitney for disrespecting her mother’s passing. One fan wrote, “I don’t understand how she thinks it’s okay to have someone wear her mom’s wedding dress.” Further, the fans stated that they would be angry if they were Glenn.

However, Glenn stated, “The surprise tribute that Whitney planned with her friends for me was a very wonderful evening for me, and I needed that!” The TLC celeb Glenn Thore went on to thank his daughter.
He appreciated the efforts and stated that remembering how special Babs was to him will never leave his thoughts. Glenn further accepted that it was one of the happiest days ever since Babs died.
