While the Thores were adjusting to this big major change in their lives, Glenn dropped a massive bomb on Whitney and Hunter.
The MBFFL patriarch said that he has a secret daughter. She was born out of wedlock before he was stationed in Asia due to his military service. So the rest of the episodes then focussed on Glenn finding his ‘estranged daughter’ Angie and bonding with her. While she did have moments of jealousy at times, Whitney, too, was happy to meet her half-sister.
There are many speculations going about the same on the interner. Many MBFFL fans feel it was very convinient for Glenn to find Angie immediatley after Bab’s pasing. So, a Redditor had a theory saying Babs must have forbidden him from staying in touch with Angie when she married to him. But Glenn must have always known and even been in touch with his daughter.
Another Redditor said how Angie’s mother Jackie stayed with Glenn’s aunt until she gave birth to their daughter. So, they definitely were in contact with eachother back in the day after her pregnancy. After all Glenn involved his family and that is a big deal. However, this means that he must have resorted to hiding this big truth from his kids Whitney and Glenn despite knowing about this for several years.
MBFFL: Will Glenn & Angie Get Their Own Show?
Glenn and his family lived in North Carolina all their lives. But when he found out his long lost daughter was in Alabama, all three of them left to meet her. MBFFL showcased both the families bonded and accepting one another. It was all very overwhelming for Glenn as he was meeting his daughter for the very first time.
But by the time the season ended, Glenn had made up his mind about staying with Angie for a while. He wanted to move in with her so that they can look for her estranged son. Because of this, many viewers began to wonder if TLC would give Glenn and Angie their own show. But there has been no confirmationa about this yet.
