June Shannon has a weird obsession with money. She ruined her daughters’ lives because of her greed for money. Season 7 of the popular series has been on a two-month hiatus after June’s money theft scandal. Alana and Lauryn exposed their mom for stealing the former’s money. Previously, June admitted that she deposited only 20% of her money in her Coogan account.
She received a lot of hate from her family and husband for stealing Honey Boo Boo’s money. WeTV is returning for the current season’s second part. Recently a new teaser revealed that June is not ready to give her daughter her money. In the clip, Alana was venting her frustration about her mom with Pumpkin. She said, “She’s just sitting there f**king lying, bro your own f**king husband is sitting there telling you that you did wrong.”
Lauryn agreed with her sister while sitting in a car. She called her mom a piece of s*it for taking someone else’s money. Later, the scenes switched to June’s confession about the whole scenario. She said, “I legally put the 20 percent in there.” Moreover, the TLC star admitted that she doesn’t give a damn and is ready to go to court.
As per ET, the producers also asked Shannon if Alana was asking her $30000 or wanted the money she owed to her. June felt that it was a little bit of both before Justin interrupted to disagree with his wife. He stated, “I do understand that it’s her money, but a lot of her money was spent on her own self.” Further, Justin was clearly on his step-daguhter’s side and felt that she owed it to her.
