Mama June & Pumpkin Discuss Why Anna Isn’t Accepting That She Won’t Survive!
June Shannon and Pumpkin have been quite serious about Anna’s cancer battle in the recent episodes. They had been thinking about the possible future of Kaitlyn and Kyle due to Cardwell’s poor health. Recently, WeTV shared a new teaser where Lauryn and Mama June got emotional after seeing Anna, not understanding that she has no time left.
Pumpkin expressed that she didn’t feel her sister was accepting the truth of her condition. June interrupted, “I think Anna just gets so wound up.” She explained how Anna cut the conversation off after she asked the doctor her time frame. The WeTV star explained that her daughters thought that she had 1, 5, or 10 years to live.
Sadly, the doctor looked at her and told her that she didn’t have ten or five years. Pumpkin also stated, “She is not living in reality at all, Mama. She does not realize she’s going to die.” She felt that her sister knew everything and that she was going to die, but she trailed off. Meanwhile, Shannon stated, “She doesn’t want to face it.” But Lauryn wanted her sister to face it because it was her fight.
Mama June also explained that she has been trying to look for an insurance policy for Anna and her daughter. However, the mother of two had not been sharing the documents. Pumpkin, on the other hand, was shocked that June was even trying to get an insurance policy for Anna, Kaitlyn, and Kylie. She knew that the girls were the priority at the moment. She confessed that Kylee’s dad would get her custody because he was in the picture, but Kaitlyn’s won’t.

Mama June and Pumpkin have discussed the harsh reality of Anna’s life in the latest teaser. They have accepted that the WeTV star won’t be able to make it for over a year. So they wanted her to fix everything for her daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee. June shared, “She’s in the reality that Eldridge, just because they’re married, he’s going to get the rights.”
However, she was angry that Anna was not trying to understand the reality that Toney couldn’t adopt them. Meanwhile, Pumpkin has made it clear that they won’t interfere in Anna’s fight and that they will let her continue itt.
