She is no more fascinated by the on-screen appearance. The star no longer has the desire to be there in the show. Pumpkin Wants To Part Her Ways With The Reality World
Lauryn has faced a tremendous struggle in her life ever since June left. Pumpkin had to take care of her teenage sister, a daughter, husband, and now she is pregnant with a second child. Pumpkin was always loaded with responsibilities. And the show brought nothing but to make Pumpkin also face her past life. Therefore, the star has decided to leave the on-screen life. But will she be able to do so?
The Efird family does not have any huge source of income. The Hollywood Gossip reports the star to be heavily dependent on the show’s income. At the same time, Pumpkin has become vocal about how difficult and busy her life is when she is doing the show. The star gets just two days off a week, and she is not able to put back her life together in those days. The star says, “I want to go and make an impact in a hospital somewhere. TV is not something that I think any of us really want to do anymore, but we keep pushing ourselves.”
Mama June Made It Difficult For Pumpkin To Find A Job
Pumpkin got to know about her mother’s expenditure during her addiction period through social media. Obviously, the daughter was hurt after knowing how her mother spent such a big amount. Pumpkin was going through some financial issues in her life while Mama June was out spending money on drugs. She was hurt as June was not there by her daughter’s side and help her out. Moreover, Pumpkin doesn’t feel it was something for her mother to brag about. The star finds it ‘kind of embarrassing.’
It seems Mama June’s fame affected her daughters in an adverse way. Pumpkin found it difficult to find a job for herself. The star explains, “especially during Mama’s addiction where like, I was trying to apply for jobs, and they wouldn’t hire me because they see what was going on with her.” In one of the job requirements, a lady didn’t hire Pumpkin because she didn’t want Mama June drama to be there at her workplace. And it was hard for Pumpkin to explain to people that she is nothing similar to her mother. Will the star face the same difficulty if she lookout for the job once again?
Pumpkin explains that they do make good money from TLC. However, it does not make them rich like the Kardashians or other rich families. Pumpkin and her family are not millionaires. Pumpkin and Josh sometimes can not even afford to pay electric bills so as to buy new clothes for Ella and Honey Boo Boo.
