Geno and Mama June have gotten under a lot of negative limelight for their arrest for crack cocaine possession. It all happened when Geno and Mama June were having an altercation. Someone called the cops on them and they eventually caught a pipe and crack cocaine. Even though it has been a couple of years since that incident, it profoundly impacted their lives.
Geno has been sentenced to 16 months after which the news of Mama June’s breakup has resurfaced. During one of the live conversations between June Shannon and her friend, she said that Geno is no longer in the picture. While Geno serves his sentence, Mama June got 100 hours of community service because of that incident. After that, her oldest daughter Pumpkin took custody of Alana. She took good care of the 15-year-old and continues to do so despite having two kids of her own.
During Pumpkin’s baby shower, Mama June reunited with their family. The gathering seemed friendly and free of resentment. In the preview of the show Mama June: Road to Redemption, Mama June revealed that she was disappointed about Alana missing out on so much when times were hard.
