Long before she became Alana Thompson, the young star was Honey Boo Boo. She still has a huge fan following, and viewers loved seeing her as a child on reality TV. Well, she is now a radiant young woman, enjoying her teenage years. Well, the promo for Mama June’s new episode by People reveals that the Shannon/Thompson family was feeling quite celebratory. That’s because another castmate, Jessica “Chubs” Shannon, recently came out to them while introducing her new girlfriend, Shyann. So, they decided to celebrate the couple by going on a drag night celebration.
It was indeed a joyous moment for Alana because some of the queens recognized her as Honey Boo Boo and clicked pictures. They even asked her if it ever got frustrating for her that people still call her by her pageant stage name. Well, Alana responded by saying she wasn’t bothered. In fact, relates to drag queens. The Mama June star said they had much “in common.” That’s because they “worked the stage,” are “very talented,” and love “the glam.” But she didn’t completely steal the spotlight away from her sister, Jessica.
The promo revealed that the new couple, i.e., Jessica and Shyann, also went on the stage to have some fun. Together, they sat on the golden throne, and everyone watched and cheered them on. It was indeed a wholesome moment, and fans can’t wait to watch more in the upcoming Mama June episodes.
