Mama June: Honey Boo Boo Has Changed After Starting College!
Honey Boo Boo, the youngest kid of June Shannon, is a high school graduate now. She has relocated to Denver, Colorado, to study nursing. She was accompanied by her boyfriend of almost three years, Dralin Carswell.
The reality TV star lives off campus with her slightly older boyfriends for security reasons. This week, Honey Boo Boo and her beau were spotted and snapped at the airport in Atlanta, Georgia. She looked tired when being snapped walking at the airport as she returned home from her college with her beau.
Fans noticed that Alana looked completely unrecognizable in the picture as she flaunted her curvy physique in an off-white t-shirt inscribed with the pink Barbie logo. The Mama June celeb styled her Barbie t-shirt with comfortable black leggings and a pair of white trainers. Alana even carried a black and white leopard print duffel bag on one of her shoulders. She also wore her blond wavy locks down.
While her beau, Dralin, opted for a comfortable fit by pairing his light blue tie-dye hooded sweater with black cargo pants. He added matching blue and purple sneakers and a black beanie to his look. In one of the uploads, the young couple was seen walking through the airport. The second snap featured the couple waiting for their luggage before heading home.
Mama June Defended Honey Boo Boo’s Relationship!
Alana Thompson, the youngest Shannon sibling, started dating Dralin at the age of fifteen. They have a four-year difference; thus, online trolls have frequently questioned their relationship. Recently, Mama June defended her daughter’s relationship by stating that her boyfriend Dralin was a “good guy.”
Addressing their age gap, June said that although Dralin is four years older than Alana, he has a ‘very young mentality.’ She added, “He has a very teenage mentality if that makes sense.” During the conversation, Shannon admitted that he is one of those guys who mature slightly later than most women.
Even Alana clapped back at the critics during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight. She accepted that she really doesn’t care about their opinion. She justified it by saying that all she cares about is that her sisters approve, his mom also approves, and that they are happy together.
