One major problem was not getting the money from her mom, June Shannon. Mama June promised to return the money that she had taken from Alana. Alan intended to use this money for her college admission.
However, as usual, Mama June never paid Alana back. Later, she demanded $35,000 from her and also made it clear that she never wanted to see her again. Due to low income, Alana couldn’t pay rent of their rental home. Soon, she and her boyfriend were kicked out from their rental, leaving them without a place to call home. Mama June and her family have taken on a road trip only to meet Alana. June’s husband, Pumpkin, and KP were along for the ride. Shannon posted a video on Instagram to talk about the family road trip. While she tagged Pumpkin and her husband in the caption, it’s unclear for fans who else has joined them.
However, June later mentioned that Jessica would get into the car on their way back. The trip indeed covered a long distance. There were several stops along the way for them to eat and rest. At one point, the family even paused to have a snowball fight. June shared that they had expected to see snow during their trip.
Although the trip took the family more than 25 hours, fans were surprised by their long drive. They were also happy to see Alana reuniting with her family. As they were in Denver, the family had the chance to visit the zoo to see the Christmas lights. Many fans applauded June for taking up the road trip.
