Mama June fans saw June reuniting with her eldest daughter Anna on Pumpkin’s baby shower. And, many believed that their relationship has finally got peace. However, Anna Cardwell cleared that even though she came to the baby shower, she has no relationship with her mother. It seems June and her daughter’s relationship is as estranged as it was before. As per Anna, June never confessed to her daughter regarding her past mistakes. And that has definitely pulled them miles apart from each other. Let us look below at what Anna has to say-
Mama June: Anna Reunited With Her Mother But Clears To Still Have No Relationship With Her
June was previously accused of rekindling the relationship with a man who molested her eldest daughter, Anna. Since then, there has been a lot of difference between June and Anna. And, these differences will surely not vanish away in a second. The Sun reported Anna Caldwell clearing that she has no real relationship with her mother. She accepted that she never even have a proper conversation with June.
Anna said, “I’ve never had a conversation with her where she was like, oh, I’m sorry for what happened or, I’m sorry for this.” Indeed, June never apologized to her daughter. Moreover, Anna revealed that her mother always “brushed everything off” and acts as nothing has happened between them.
June was 15 years old when she gave birth to Anna. And June and Anna didn’t always have an estranged relationship. They used to be very close before June came into a relationship with Anna’s alleged molester. Ever since then, Anna has distanced herself from her mother. Well, that’s something that June needs to talk about and clarify with her daughter. Anna continued, “We haven’t talked really since then. I pushed myself away from her with that.” Anna didn’t even understand why her mother would involve herself with someone who once molested her daughter.
Mama June: Anna Is Over Her Mother
Anna Caldwell also had a legal battle with her mother. Lately, the eldest daughter filed a lawsuit against her mother for alleged unpaid appearances on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The suit also aimed at TLC for keeping Anna and her daughter away from the wages. However, soon Anna realized that the lawsuit was not worth taking stress. She said, “Yes, it’s a lot of money, but still, it’s like it’s not like I want to stress myself over trying to get it.”
For now, Anna has got over all her past pains. She no longer dwells on the old days. Anna claimed, “I’ve been over it for a while. I’ve been over it for a long time.” It has been years for Anna to be without her mother’s “love”. Well, it’s not like Anna never tried to communicate with her mother. She did try her best. However, Anna revealed that her mother gave no reply back. And Anna does not want to force a relationship on anyone. Therefore, she found it better to part ways with June.
Mama June: Amidst Estranged Relationship With June, Anna Is Doing Fine With Her Sisters
Anna further cleared, “When we do see each other, we talk, but I feel like she just tries to avoid me in a way.” It seems both Anna and June want to mend the relationship. But, nobody knows how to do it. After so many attempts, Anna expected her mother to try mending things. But, as per Anna, June never messaged or talked first. And Anna no longer feels the want to hold her relationship with June. She seems to be doing fine without having a “Mama relationship.”
Despite Anna’s bitter relationship with her mother, she is doing well with her sisters. Also, it’s not that Anna does not talk with her mother. She does have a chat with Mama and laughs around. But, they never confront their past with each other. Anna feels that it might make things worse. The relationship could end up with both talking to each other or both not seeing each other ever again. In both ways, things will be awkward for the rest of the members of the family.
