She believes that she wasn’t a “downer” person, but it gave her the courage to do “amazing” stuff” in her life. Indeed, because of the star’s addiction, she spent a hefty amount on casinos and drugs. Recently, June confessed that now she wishes she wouldn’t have picked up this habit in her life. As per the reports, she spent around $1 million dollars on drugs just in a year! Evidently, it affected her financial condition.
Shannon, who called herself a “coupon queen,” is now back to “penny-pinching” these days. She revealed that her husband Justin often calls her a “money hoarder” because of her habits. As per Mama June, if she ever gets a chance to talk to her younger self, she’ll ask, “Girl, what the hell are you doing spending all that d–n money?” Now the matriarch thinks of all the things she could have done with the amount. The matriarch first opened up about spending $900,000 on drugs in March 2021. June admitted that she sent a lot of money to her “dope man.” As per the celeb, she went into rehab with $1.75 to her name and came out with nothing. She even disclosed that she whopped around $250,000 in casinos in just four months!
However, as per the current scenario, it seems that June is going on the right track. She admitted in a recent interview that she often has to take tests and submit them to the show makers to prove that she is no longer intoxicated. On the other hand, the matriarch seems to be saving money as well now. Shannon’s famous extravagant marriage just cost her $13,000 in Florida.
