Mama June: Shannon Talks About ‘Rare And Aggressive’ Cancer That Anna Cardwell Has!
Mama June is trying her best to support her daughter Anna Cardwell amid her cancer battle. Recently, the star kid was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer of a rare type. Since then, viewers have been curious to know about the health update of Anna. Recently, June revealed that her daughter had undergone the “second round” of chemotherapy to cure her adrenal carcinoma. She further talked about how the second one was a bit rougher than the first round. Shannon seemed really disappointed when she admitted that Anna’s cancer is very “rare and aggressive.”
Mama June revealed that their nightmare started when Anna went to the hospital just because of her “back pain.” The doctors found a “cyst” and removed it as well. The star told ET in an exclusive interview that within a few months, her daughter “lost all her hair.” This is because adrenal carcinoma affected her liver, spleen, and lungs. Shannon stated that only 200 people have this type of “rare” cancer, while Justin added that only “one in one million” people are affected because of this! As per Mama June, Anna would again go for another round of chemotherapy in the upcoming week, and her scan results would come by May 9. Though it is a difficult situation, they aren’t losing hope!

The star kid “sleeps” all day and doesn’t even want to eat at all somedays. Hence, it all depends on the day, and her mood keeps shifting. The same is happening with Shannon as well. She disclosed that lately, she had conversations with Anna that no mother would ever want to have with her child.
