When the viewers finish binging all the five episodes that are now available on Netflix, a title card appears on the screen. This screen states that Lupin Season 1 Part 2 is happening. This comes as a relief for all the fans of the show. Not just this, a report by Variety reveals that Netflix had ordered the first ten episodes, five out of which are out already.
Not only are we getting part 2, but there is also some more good news for the fans. Lupin Season 1 Part 2 was written and filmed alongside the first part of the show. While many fans were worried that the production of the show would be delayed because of the ongoing pandemic, this news comes as a relief. We will not have to wait for George Kay and François Uzan to work on more episodes.
Lupin Season 1 Part 2: What Would Happen Next?
The first season of Lupin ended on a major cliffhanger. The show left us with a number of questions that we can hope that Lupin Season 1 Part 2 would answer. Some of the questions are, would Youssef arrest Assane? In the first season, Youssef was the only cop who was convinced that Assane was inspired by Maurice Leblanc’s books about Arsène Lupin. So, one question that we need the second season to answer is, Would Youssef arrest Assane, or will he get away again?
Another question that we need answers to is will Assane find his son Raoul? The last we saw of him was when Hubert Pellegrini’s henchman Leonard kidnapped him at gunpoint. After that, both Assane and Claire left to look for their son. The first season of Lupin showed how much Assane cared for his son. After the kidnapping, it was pretty obvious that Leonard would take the kid to Pellegrini, which would force Assane to come there. Would Assane be able to rescue Raoul? The second season will answer this.
The biggest question the first season left us with was, who will ultimately win? Pellegrini is hard to find the antagonist of the show. He is powerful, dangerous, and has connections. On the other hand, we have our gentleman thief, Assane, who is clever and smart. However, now with Raoul missing, Assane has become more desperate to take Pellegrini down.
Who will ultimately win this battle? If Assane gets close to Pellegrini, it is quite possible that he would get the security and get rid of Assane. However, it is also possible that Assane would come up with a plan where he could save Raoul while also taking down Pellegrini at the same time. When Will The Show Release?
The first season of the series released recently in January 2021. Netflix has not yet officially announced when Lupin Season 1 Part 2 would hit our screens. However, the lead actor of the show Londez recently shared a picture on his Instagram where fans started asking him questions about Lupin Season 1 Part 2.
When one fan asked when the second part would release, Londez failed to give exact details about the show. He insisted that he and the whole crew don’t know anything about that. While the actor did not give a definitive answer, we can expect the show to release sometime soon. Given that it is already ready, viewers can be hopeful.
